A-Game Academy Tuition – Terms, Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

A-Game Academy provides educational tuition services on a session and subscription basis. By enrolling in our services or making payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Nature of Service

All services provided are intangible educational services ). As such, once a lesson has been delivered, the service is considered fully rendered.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Fees are charged monthly (subscription) or per session (one-time).
  • Payment must be made in advance to secure your booking.
  • Prices are clearly displayed before checkout and are inclusive of all applicable charges, unless stated otherwise.

Billing & Lessons Policy

When you get charged


Your subscription renews on the same date every month — the date you first signed up. If you sign up on the 15th, you get charged on the 15th every month. This is handled automatically by our payment provider, Paystack.

If your payment fails on your renewal date, your subscription will not automatically retry. It is your responsibility to ensure your card has sufficient funds. If payment fails, you may lose access to that month's lessons.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us in writing at agameacademy.tuition@gmail.com with 30 days' notice.

How many lessons you get
A-Game Academy runs 4 live Saturday lessons per month on a full month basis.

Please note the following exceptions:

  • Term 2 start (around April): Lessons begin towards the middle of April, after schools reopen. You will receive fewer than 4 lessons in April. Your monthly fee remains the same.
  • November (matric exams): Grade 12 NSC final exams fall in November. Lessons may be reduced or paused during this period to allow students to focus on their exams. Your monthly fee remains the same.
  • By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read and understood this billing and lessons policy, including the exceptions above.

4. Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be issued once a lesson/session has been delivered.
  • By making payment, you acknowledge that the service is consumed once the lesson takes place.
  • Refunds, if any, are granted at the sole discretion of A-Game Academy and may be subject to administrative or cancellation fees.

5. Missed Lessons

  • If a student fails to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the session will be forfeited.
  • No refunds, credits, or replacements will be provided for missed lessons.

6. Rescheduling Policy

  • Lessons can't be rescheduled for that particular person only..

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Subscriptions are month-to-month and may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice sent to:

  • The subscription will remain active during the notice period.

In cases where insufficient notice is provided, a reasonable cancellation fee may be charged, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

8. Service Delivery & Quality

  • A-Game Academy will take all reasonable steps to deliver high-quality tuition services.
  • If any issues arise (e.g. scheduling conflicts or tutor concerns), clients must notify us promptly so that we may resolve the matter in a fair and reasonable manner.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • A-Game Academy is not liable for:


    Student performance outcomes


    Missed improvements or academic results


    Losses resulting from missed sessions due to client-side issues


10. Data & Privacy

  • By using our services, you consent to the collection of personal information such as:


    Name


    Contact details


    Academic information (e.g. grade level)


  • This information is used strictly for:


    Service delivery


    Communication


    Internal record-keeping


  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

11. Marketing Communication

  • By providing your contact details, you may receive:


    Service updates


    Reminders


    Promotional offers


  • You may opt out of marketing communication at any time.

12. Amendments

A-Game Academy reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be communicated where necessary and apply going forward.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By making a payment or using our services, you confirm that you:

  • Agree to the refund, cancellation, and attendance policies

  • Accept that no refunds apply after service delivery
